Donald Richard Zeiger

Donald Richard Zeiger, age 73, of Tiffin, died at 3:45 a.m., Wednesday, May 20, 2026, at Autumnwood Care Center, Tiffin.

Don was born December 10, 1952, in Mansfield, Ohio, to John P. and Dorothy Marie (Reinhart) Zeiger.

Survivors include two brothers, Dr. John (Joan) Zeiger of Westfield, IN, Mark Zeiger of Tiffin; a sister, Ann (Robert) Handley of Marion, OH; nieces and nephews; and great-nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his stepmother, Agnes (Distel) Zeiger.

Don was a 1971 Calvert High School graduate. He worked at Ex-Cell-O Wire in Tiffin and was a member of the Moose Lodge, Tiffin.

Visitation will be 12:30 -1:30 p.m. Thursday, May 28, 2026, at TRAUNERO FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY 214 S. Monroe Street, Tiffin, Ohio 44883 (419) 447-3113. A graveside service will follow Thursday at 2:00 p.m. at St. Mary Catholic Cemetery, officiated by Rev. Gary Walters.
