Donald Francis Schumm, Jr., 60, of Tiffin, died at 11:36 p.m. Sunday, December 20, 2015, in the emergency care center of Mercy Tiffin Hospital.
Donald was born April 4, 1955 in Tiffin to Donald F. and Charlotte A. (Szablewski) Schumm, Sr.
Survivors include six sisters, Ruth (Leslie) Bowman, Virginia Schumm both of Tiffin, Susan Fitch of Deerfield Beach, Fla., Carolyn (Donald) Echelberry, of Tiffin, Deborah (Danny) Collins, of Columbus, and Rose (Andrew) Crabtree, of Tiffin; and many nieces and nephews.
Donald was preceded in death by his parents.
Donald was a 1973 graduate of Calvert High School. He worked at Ameriwood Industries and was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and the Tiffin Eagles #402, and avid gardener.
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, December 22, 2015 at Traunero Funeral Home, 214 S. Monroe Street, Tiffin, Ohio 44883 (419) 447-3113 with a wake service at 3:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
Prayers will be said at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at the funeral home with the funeral Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Joseph Catholic Church, officiated by Rev. Joseph Szybka. The Rosary will be recited 20 minutes prior to the Mass at the church. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
Memorial may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church in care of the funeral home.
