She was born May 16, 1919, in Dayton, to Jesse E. and Emma (McMichael) Johnson. She married Robert G. Deis, Dec. 26, 1941, in Dayton and he died Mar. 21, 1994.
Survivors include a son, Michael (Jean) Deis of Port Clinton, and a daughter, Susan (De) Stewart of Fort Thomas, Ky; three grandchildren, Scott (Jaime) Deis, Lauren Deis, and Andrea (Chad) Halstead; two great grandchildren, Amelia Halstead and Beckham Deis.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Judith Deis, a son, Robert E. Deis, a grandson, Michael P. Deis, a daughter-in-law, Kathy Deis, and a brother, Jesse Johnson, Jr.
Louise was a 1937 graduate of Beavercreek High School and attended Miami Jacobs Business College. She was a homemaker and a member of Trinity United Church of Christ and the Senior Community Center. She was an avid card player, enjoyed golf, and was passionate about her yard, especially her flowers.
Visitation will be 9:30 - 10:30 am, Wednesday, Jan 21, 2015, at Traunero Funeral Home and Crematory, 214 S. Monroe St., Tiffin, Ohio 44883 (419)447-3113. Funeral services will be at 10:30 am Wednesday at the funeral home with Rev. Dr. Louis Dorsch officiating. Burial will follow in Seneca Memory Gardens.
