Delsi Martin

Delsi Martin, 85, was reunited with Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ Friday, March 13, 2026.

Delsi was born and raised in Tiffin. With deliberate care and compassion, her career as a registered nurse impacted many lives. If you ever went to Mercy Hospital (the old one they tore down) on a weekend evening or late night, you surely met Delsi! She was the 3rd shift nursing supervisor there for many years, retiring in 2007. Delsi was a woman of God called to serve her community. She volunteered her time at many places, but Meals-On-Wheels, Hospice, American Red Cross, and The Ritz Theatre come to mind among those who benefited from her time and talents. Throughout retirement, she used her God-given talents to support St. Mark's Lutheran Church and the Delaware, Ohio community. Delsi was especially proud of her three children, six grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren, all of whom brought her TRUE JOY, hard belly LAUGHS, crisis TEARS, and loving bear HUGS (also there were many CATS). Visitation is from 5-8 p.m. Friday, March 27, 2026, at TRAUNERO FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 214 S. Monroe St, Tiffin, Ohio 44883 (419)447-3113. Nursing Honor Guard services will be 7:45 pm Friday at the funeral home.

Funeral Service begins at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 28, 2026, with a breakfast at 9 a.m. at St. Mark's Lutheran Church, officiated by the Rev. Wendy Richter, 28 E. William St, Delaware, OH 43015. Immediately after the service, Delsi Martin's cremated remains will be given back to the earth at Oakhill Cemetery, 13623 County Highway 119, Upper Sandusky, Ohio, 43351.
