Della Irene Fate, age 77 years died on June 12, 2001 at St. Vincent-Mercy Medical Center, Toledo, Ohio. She was born to Bernard and Irene (Wagner) Fate, Sr. She had never married. Other survivors include 1 brother, Thomas Fate of Old Fort, Ohio; 2 sisters, Mrs. Norbert (Alice)Gabringer of Sylvania, Ohio; and Mrs. Ronald (Mary Jo) Elchert of Attica, Ohio. She is preceded by 1 sister, Catherine Nemeth, and 1 brother, Bernard Joseph "Bud" Fate, Jr.
Ms. Fate was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church and she had retired in 1983 after 45 years as a bookkeeper and cashier at A&P Grocery Store, Tiffin.
Burial will take place immediately following the Funeral Mass at St. Mary Catholic Cemetery. Contributions may be made to a charity of the Donor's Choice.
