Debra Mae (Snyder) Dodson, 68, formerly of Bettsville, died July 4, 2024, at her daughter’s residence in Palmetto, Florida. She was born March 9, 1956, in Tiffin to Robert A. and Edna Mae (Hamrick) Snyder. She married Dennis D. Dodson, October 19, 1974, at St. Joseph Catholic Church. He died November 8, 2002.
Survivors include two daughters, Michelle A. (Kevin) Kohlenberg of Lexington, Tennessee and Sherry L. (Russ) Sauers of Palmetto, Florida; seven grandchildren, Dakota, Cheyenne, Paige, Alexis, Megan, Ashley, and Brandon; and nine great-grandchildren; three brothers, Jim (Kate) Snyder of Bowling Green, Tom (Jeanie) Snyder of Tiffin, Dick Snyder of Tiffin; four sisters, Peg (Jim) Terry, of Lexington, Tennessee, Kathy (Bob) Free, Sally (Mark) Wagner, and Kay (Adam) Schmucker all of Tiffin.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a son, Michael Dodson, two brothers, Bob Snyder, and Charles Snyder, and an infant brother, Robert Charles Snyder.
She was a graduate of St. Francis High School, and attained her associate’s degree from Terra State Community College. She retired from Terra State Community College and was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.
Visitation for family and friends will be 4-8 p.m. Monday, July 15, 2024, at TRAUNERO FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 214 S. Monroe Street, Tiffin, Ohio 44883 (419) 447-3113.
Prayers will be said at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, July 16, 2024, at the funeral home. The funeral Mass will follow at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church officiated by Rev. Anthony Coci. The rosary will be recited 30 minutes prior to the Mass at the church. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery
