DAVID JOSEPH (ROCK) ROCHESTER

David Joseph (Rock) Rochester, age 63, of Tiffin, Ohio, died at 1:30 pm, Monday, August 27, 2007, at St. Francis Home, Tiffin.

He was born September 4, 1943, in Tiffin, to the late Silas and Anna (Strausbaugh) Rochester. He married Lois Leeth, and they later divorced.

He is survived by a two sons, David (Gail) Rochester, Jr., and Andrew (Shannon) Rochester, both of Tiffin; a daughter, Sara Rochester of Tiffin; five grandchildren, Tyler, Paige, Olivia, Adelynn, and Dylan Rochester; five brothers, Richard (Shirley) Rochester, Ronald Rochester, Thomas (Bonita) Rochester, and Joseph Rochester, all of Tiffin, and James Rochester of Fostoria; two sisters, Marjorie Conner of Tiffin, and Judith (Edward) Row of Bettsville.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Pat Rochester, and a grandson, Christian Beck.

Mr. Rochester was a Mason by trade and a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles. He enjoyed playing cards, billiards, softball, and umpiring. He had a large circle of friends, including a companion, Marilyn Lucas.

There will be a Memorial Dinner at 1 pm Saturday, September 1, 2007, at the Fraternal Order of Eagles on Riverside Drive, Tiffin. There will be no visitation. Memorials may be made to the Tiffin Fraternal Order of Eagles.
