David Allen Tomsey, 52, of Jefferson Street,Tiffin,Ohio died at 7:17 a.m., Monday,
June 5, 2006 at Mercy Hospital, Tiffin. He was born September 24, 1953 in Tiffin to Stanley and Ruby (Koontz) Tomsey.
Survivors include his mother, 3 nephews; Jeremy (Melissa) Fox, John Robinson, Paul J. (Kristi) Landers III, 2 nieces; Tonya M. (John)Smith, Candie (Joe) Cunningham: all of Tiffin; and 9 great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Stanley Tomsey, 2 sisters; Tina M. Samsel, Vicky M. Landers, and his long time friend, Bo, the family Golden Retriever.
Mr. Tomsey was a graduate of Columbian High School and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. He was a Floor Person in the Secondary Packaging Room at Farmland Foods in New Riegel where he had been employed since November 16, 1994.
Visitation will be from 6-7 p.m. Wednesday, June 7, 2006 at the Traunero Funeral Home, 214 S. Monroe Street, Tiffin (419) 447-3113. A Funeral Service will be held at 7 p.m. at Traunero Funeral Home with Rev. James K. Say officiating. Burial will be at 1:00 p.m. June 13, 2006 at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
