David Scott Kerns

David Scott Kerns, age 63, died at 8:25 p.m., Monday, March 31, 2025, at the St. Francis Home, Tiffin.

David was born August 28, 1961, in Alliance, Ohio, to Charles and Patricia (Radakovich) Wilson. His mother survives in Dunedin, Florida.

Other survivors include a brother, Larry (Char) Kerns of Shaker Heights; two stepbrothers, James (Bernadette) Wilson of Tiffin, and Mitchell (Shelley) Wilson of Pickerington; along with several nieces and nephews.

David was preceded in death by his father.

David attended Alliance High School, served in the U. S. Navy, and worked at the American Steel Company in Alliance, and the Ohio Department of Natural Resources.

A private service and burial will take place at Western Reserve National Cemetery, Rittman, Ohio. The TRAUNERO FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 214 S. Monroe Street, Tiffin, Ohio 44883 (419) 447-3113, have been entrusted with the arrangements.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Research Hospital.
