Cynthia (Cindy) Ann Miller, 69, of Bascom, Ohio, passed away Saturday, April 27, 2024, at the OSU Wexner Medical Center, Columbus, Ohio, from complications of rheumatoid arthritis, scleroderma, and heart failure. 

 

Cindy was born December 19, 1954, in Chillicothe, Ohio, to Robert and Mary Summers.

 

She is survived by her two children, Adrian (Stacy) Miller of Lewis Center, Alison (Mike) Urban of Bascom; four grandchildren, Trevor Urban, Gabriel Urban, Cailee Urban & Beau Miller; her mother, Mary Summers; four siblings: Mary Geiss, David Summers, Jackie (Jack) McQuade,  and Doug Summers; beloved friends, Natalie & John McNamara, Irene Allen, Becky Griffin, Marcia Abbott, Cindy Diaz, Janet Straub; and her Significant Other, Mike Beamer.

 

She was preceded in death by her father, Robert; a son, Arlington Miller; and a brother, Daniel Summers.

 

Cindy grew up in Columbus, Ohio & graduated from Bishop Ready High School in 1973. She attended OSU for a short time, where she met her ex-husband Ray Miller Jr. They married and moved to the Tiffin/Bascom area, where Cindy remained the rest of her life. Cindy treasured spending time with family & friends as much as possible. She also enjoyed scrapbooking, attending church and church events, outings with friends, writing letters to her many friends and family, and attending Hopewell-Loudon sporting events. Cindy was also involved with several charities that were near to her heart. Despite her health issues throughout her life, Cindy lived life to the fullest, always had a positive attitude and a smile for everyone, and was a true inspiration to all she came in contact with. She inspired positivity, love, forgiveness, charity, and strength. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

 

Cindy would like all her family and friends to know that she loves you all very much and is so thankful for all the love, support, care, and assistance she received from all of you.

 

Visitation will be at 2:00-4:00 p.m. and 6:00-8:00 p.m. Friday, May 3, 2024, Traunero Funeral Home, 214 S Monroe St, Tiffin, Ohio 44883 (419) 447-3113.

 

Funeral Service will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, May 4, 2024, at the Bascom Community Church, 5707 W. Tiffin St (SR 18), Bascom, Ohio 44809.
