Cora L. Bour

Cora L. Bour, 85, formerly of McCutchenville, passed away April 5, 2024, after a brief stay at Good Shepherd Home, Fostoria, Ohio.  She was born May 7, 1938, in McCutchenville to Paul and Grace (Redfox) Wagner.  She married Paul William “Bill” Bour March 21, 1959, and in 2012 he preceded her in death.

 At the time of her death, she was surrounded by her son, Jack Bour, his wife Susan Jones and her grandchildren Jarred Bour-Jones and Jaclyn Bour-Jones all of Tiffin.

 After graduating from McCutchenville High School she attended and graduated from Mt. Carmel School of Nursing.  Cora worked as a nurse for many years and later for the Seneca County Sheriff’s office, the Seneca County Board of Elections, American Cancer Society, and managed the Seneca County Fair.  She enjoyed gardening, crocheting and her family was the lucky recipient of her delicious cookie baking. 

 She was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ, McCutchenville.

 Private services and burial were at Bethel Cemetery in McCutchenville. TRAUNERO FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 214 S. Monroe Street, Tiffin, Ohio 44883 (419) 447-3113 were entrusted with the arrangements.
