Christina M. Vogelsong-Williams, of Tiffin, Ohio, died September 30, 2001, at Mercy Hospital in Tiffin. She was born on November 23, 1916 to Christian and Edna (Smith) Shuey, in Tiffin. She married Elmer C. Vogelsong in Covington, Kentucky. He died on February 28, 1968. She then married James C. Williams. He died in 1984.
Other survivors include: 1 son, Richard A. Vogelsong; 1 daughter, Patricia A. Bauer; 2 sisters, Grace Bolen and Mrs. Dominic (Marjorie) Panuto; 8 Grandchildren and 11 Great-Grandchildren.
Mrs. Vogelsong-Williams was preceded by a daughter, Sharon Boes, an infant son, Ronald L. Vogelsong, and a brother, Asa Shuey.
She was a 1935 graduate of Columbian High School. She had worked at Harold's Department Store, Quigley Drugstore, and various other department stores and was formerly involved in the Eagles Auxiliary.
Burial will take place immediately following the service at Fairmont Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Mercy Hospital of Tiffin, in care of the funeral home.
