Charles M. Ray, Jr., age 84, of Tiffin, Ohio, died April 6, 2002. He was born September 25, 1917 in Pittsburgh, the son of Charles and Helen (Preisinger) Ray, Sr. He was the widower of the former Regina B. King and is survived by four daughters, Barbara (Richard) Kuhn,Patti (Frank) Redman, Cathe (Donald) Hammer, and Terri (Theodore) Temper; a sister, Gloria Boch, 8 Grandchildren, and 2 Great Grandchildren. A brother, George Ray, and a sister, Helen Coe, are deceased. Mr. Ray retired in 1982 after 43 years as a transmission foreman at Columbia Gas Company. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Tiffin, the Knights of Columbus, the Eagles, the Moose, the Holy Name Society, and he was an avid bowler and golfer. Funeral Mass will also be held at 10 am, Saturday, April 13, at St. John Vianney Parish/St. George Catholic Church, Pittsburgh. Burial will be in St. John Vianney Parish Cemetery, Pittsburgh. Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice or for memorial masses.
