Chick was born January 17, 1925 in Tiffin, to the late Vincent and Rose (Santoro) Granata.
He is survived by one daughter, Carolyn “Jean” Granata-Flores, of Toledo; two granddaughters, Heather Granata, and Mandi Flores; five great grandchildren; two brothers, Anthony “Nini” (Marge) Granata, and Joseph (Eloise) Granata, both of Tiffin.
Chick was preceded in death by a daughter, Suzanne Granata; and three brothers, Gordon Granata, Salvatore Granata and an infant brother.
Chick was a member of the United States Coast Guard from 1942 to 1946. He retired as a bus lineman in Sussex, England. He had also worked as a truck driver and as a railroad worker. He was formerly a member of St. Mary Catholic Church of Tiffin.
