Carol R. Cleveland, age 76, of Sixth Ave., Tiffin, passed away at 7:15 pm Thursday, October 21, 2010, at Bellevue Hospital.
She was born December 6, 1933, to Harvey and Helen (Courtney) Krupp in Tiffin, Ohio. She married John P. Cleveland, January 29, 1955 at First Lutheran Church, Tiffin and he survives.
Other survivors include a daughter, Kelly (Dan) Steyer of Toledo, two sons, John (Cindy) Cleveland of Twinsburg, and Joseph (Barbara) Cleveland, of Perrysburg; five grandchildren, Jason, Eric, and Adam Steyer, Alexandra and Andrea Cleveland.
She is preceded in death by two brothers, Harvey and William Krupp and a sister, Shirley Krupp.
Carol was a 1951 Columbian High School graduate. She worked for the Seneca County Clerk of Courts for 28 years, serving as clerk for 12 years, and then retired in 2000. She was a member of Ebenezer United Methodist Church, Penthouse Club, several different Bridge Clubs, Allen Eiry Senior Center, the PERI and Daughters of America. She enjoyed volunteering for several local organizations and spending time with her friends and family.
The Memorial Service will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, October 25, 2010 at Ebenezer United Methodist Church with the Rev. Donna Van Trees officiating. Entombment will be in the Ebenezer Church Columbarium. There will be no visitation.
