Carmelita D. Floyd died on March 14, 2001 at St. Francis Home, Tiffin, Ohio. She was born to Julis and Cecelia (Weithman) Wurm. She married James W. Floyd on September 1, 1953 in Connelsville, Ohio. He died on April 23, 1992. Other survivors include a daughter-in-law Shirley Robbins of Tiffin, Ohio; 9 grandchildren; and 23 great grandchildren. She is preceded by 1 son Alva J. Robbins, 1 step-son, John D. Floyd; 1 sister, Rosemary Cronenwett; and 2 brothers Albert Wurm and Lewis Wurm.
Mrs. Floyd retired after 27 years as a Licensed Practical Nurse. She was also the former owner of Wurm's Restaurant in Bucyrus, Ohio.
Burial will take place immediately following the Funeral Mass at Seneca Memory Gardens. Contributions may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
