She was born on May 27, 1925 in Codacal, Kerala, India, to Rev. Dr. Robert and Hannah Hermon. She married Archibald Satyanathan, on December 17th, 1945 in Calicut, India. He died, on December 12th,1993, in Calicut, India.
Beatrice was the beloved mother of Dr. Boniface Satyanathan of Zimbabwe, Africa, and Reggie Satyanathan of Tiffin. She was the beloved grandmother of Dr. Rachel Beatrice Satyanathan-Varghese, Dr. Rebecca Elizabeth Satyanathan, Paul Jacob Satyanathan and James Satyanathan. She was the beloved great grandmother of Christopher Satyanathan. She was the beloved sister of Bennett Hermon of Calicut, India.
She was preceded in death by a son, Lambert Satyanathan, two brothers, Dr. Alfred J. Hermon and Edward Hermon, and three sisters, Leticia Macaden, Dotty Padiath, and Elizabeth Mandody.
Beatrice was a graduate of the B.E.M. Girls High School of Calicut, India, and she was a member of Old Trinity Episcopal Church of Tiffin. She was dearly loved and will be missed by all in her family.
Funeral services for Beatrice will be at 3 p.m. on Thursday, November 10th, 2011, at the Old Trinity Episcopal Church, Tiffin, Ohio, with Rev. Amy Fallon officiating. After cremation, entombment will be in the Old Trinity Church Columbarium, with the eventual return of Beatrice’s remains to Calicut, Kerala, India.
Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the church.
