Anna Louise (Hochstettler) Smith, age 76, of 60 N. SR 101 Tiffin, Ohio, died Sunday, November 17, 2002 at 2:45 AM at her residence. She was born on January 20, 1926 in Bluffton, Ohio to Jacob and Viola (Steiner) Hochstettler. She married Donald E. Smith on December 16, 1961 in Tiffin, Ohio. He survives.
Other survivors include 2 daughters, Donita Smith of Tiffin, and Mrs. Paula (Louis) Mattero of Waterville, Ohio; 2 grandchildren, Dominic and Gracie Mattero.
Mrs. Smith was a graduate of Bluffton High School. She recieved her Bachelors degree in home economics from Taylor University in Upland, Indiana. She had retired from food service at Heidelberg College and was also a former Seneca County Extension Agent. Mrs. Smith was a very active member of the First Baptist Church of Tiffin, a member of the Tiffin Women's Club, Home Economics Club, a Former 4-H Advisor, and a founding member of Women ACT.
Rev. Mickey McManus will officiate.
Burial will take place immediately following the funeral service in Greenlawn Cemetery. Contributions may be made to the church, or to Community Hospice Care.
