Anna M. Bowers, 83, of Tiffin, died at 8:35 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 3, 2017, at Marion General Hospital, Marion, Ohio.Anna was born August 5, 1934, in Seneca County to Frank X. and Esther S. (Holmes) Bogner.  She married Robert E. Bowers August 19,1956. He died October 21, 2013.

Survivors include a son, Gregory E. (Bobbi) Bowers of Sycamore; a daughter, Vicki L. (James) Karcher of Apple Creek; four grandchildren, Ashley Bowers, Andrea Bowers, Tony Karcher, and Tyson (Tiffany) Karcher; and a sister, Carroll J. Clever of Smyrna, Georgia.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; two sisters, Margaret E. Weithman, Helen E. Ferguson; four brothers, Oliver C. Bogner, Frank X. Bogner, Jr., Benjamin D. Bogner, and Carl W. Bogner.

Anna was a 1952 graduate of Attica High School, a member of Trinity United Church of Christ and she had retired from General Electric. She loved to travel, cook and do crossword puzzles.

Visitation for family and friends will be  4-8 p.m.  Sunday, Oct. 8, 2017, at the Traunero Funeral Home and Crematory, 214 S. Monroe St., Tiffin, Ohio 44883, (419) 447-3113.

Funeral will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, Oct. 9, 2017, at Traunero Funeral Home and Crematory with Rev. Dan Johnson officiating. Entombment will follow at the Seneca Memory Gardens Mausoleum.

Memorial contributions may be made to American Heart Assn., American Diabetes Assn. or to the Alzheimer’s Foundation.
