Alma C. Bishop, 92, formerly of 60 N. SR 101, Tiffin, died at 10 p.m., Monday, January 4, 2010 at Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center, Toledo.
She was born August 28, 1917 to the late Otto and Amelia R. (Kinn) Reinhart in Bascom, Ohio. She married Arthur E. Bishop, August 4, 1937 in St. Joseph Catholic Church, Tiffin. He died April 14, 1997.
Alma is survived by a sister, Margaret Herig of Tiffin; and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Marion Reinhart.
Alma retired as a civilian clerk at the U.S. Naval Air Station in Virginia. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Tiffin and its Rosary Altar Society.
Family and friends may call from 10:30 – 11:30 a.m. Saturday, January, 9, 2010 at St. Francis Home Chapel, 182 St. Francis Ave., Tiffin, followed by a funeral Mass at 11:30 a.m. Rev. Frank Murd will officiate with burial immediately following in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
