Alberta was born May 4, 1921 in St. Stephens to Anthony and Mary Josephine (Blum) Falter. On June 15, 1968 she married William L. Kowpak at St. Mary Catholic Church, Tiffin and he died August 5, 1998.
She is survived by three nephews, Eldon (Marilyn) Falter, Cadell (Ginny) Falter both of Bellevue, Kenneth (Brenda) Falter of Attica; four nieces, Valeda (James) Miller of Attica, Laura (Robert) Peiffer of Bellevue, Kay (Brent) Allan of Fremont, Marilyn (Donald) Overton of Liberty Twp. Monroe; step-children, Peter (Tracy) Kowpak of Sandusky, Zane (Scarlet) Kowpak of New London, Debra Longmire of Albany, California; eight grandchildren, and many great grandchildren.
Alberta was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two brothers, Norman J. Falter, Delbert F. Falter, a nephew, Kilian Falter; a great nephew, Gregg Miller; and a step-daughter, Karen Lester.
Alberta was a graduate of Attica High School and of Tiffin University. She was a realtor with Century 21 of Tiffin and taught Real Estate at Tiffin University. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, TU Alumni Association and the Altar Rosary Society.
There will be no visitation. A Funeral Mass will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, October 4, 2013 at St. Mary Catholic Church with the Rev. Gary Walters and her nephew, Rev John Miller con-celebrating. Burial will follow at SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Cemetery, Attica.
