Robert W. Larkins, 87, of Lincoln, Nebraska, formerly of Tiffin, passed away at 9:43 am Friday, December 8, 2017, surrounded by his loving family, at Country House in Lincoln.
He was born February 12, 1930, in Fremont, to Robert G. and Alice C. (Mollett) Larkins. He married Nancy Goetz, who preceded him in death May 8, 1986.
Survivors include two sons, Robert J. Larkins of Dayton, Ohio, and Tom Larkins of Chardon, Ohio; four daughters, Ginny M. Cash of Romulus, NY, Mary Elizabeth Larkins of Lincoln, Neb., Cindy Done' of Lincoln, Neb., Ann Lechner of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Sara Larkins of Lincoln, Neb.; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren, whom he enjoyed tremendously and loved very much; and two sisters, Helen Hoffman and Joan Steinle, both of Fremont.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Hertzer.
Mr. Larkins served in the US Navy and worked for the Tiffin Fire Department as well as establishing RW Larkins, Builder, his construction company. He and Nancy were members of St. Joseph Parish for 62 years.
A funeral Mass will be 10 am Saturday, January 13, 2018, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, with Rev. Joseph Szybka officiating. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to Mass at the church, with the Rosary recited 20 minutes prior to Mass. A luncheon will follow the burial in the Upper Room at St. Joseph Activity Center.
