June Eileen (Keim) Fate

June Eileen Fate, 87, of Old Fort, died at 6:23 AM Saturday, August 11, 2018, at Elmwood Assisted Living, Fremont.

June was born July 29, 1931, in Old Fort to Lawrence and Nellie (Daniels) Keim. She married Thomas F. Fate November 24, 1949, at St. Mary Catholic Church, Tiffin, and he died May 28, 2008.

Survivors include seven children, Thomas F. (Genny) Fate, Jr. of Tyler, Texas, Deborah K. (Bob) Colson of Port Clinton, Timothy M. (Cindy) Fate of Lambertville, Michigan, David J. (Donna) Fate of Fremont, Jeanne I. (Orest) Harkacz of Chugiak, Alaska, Brenda J. Fate of Fremont, and James B. Fate of Summerville, South Carolina; 19 grandchildren, many many great-grandchildren; a brother, Lawrence “Mutt” (Janet) Keim of Old Fort, and three sisters, Carol Harrah of Clyde, Sharon (Jim) Warner of Walbridge, Peggy (Gary) Boroff of Marysville.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, three brothers, Robert Keim, John Keim, Richard Keim; and a sister, Marjorie Rathburn.

June was 1949 graduate of Tiffin Columbian High School, a homemaker and member of St. Mary Catholic Church.

Visitation for family and friends will be 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Wednesday, August 15, 2018, at the Traunero Funeral Home and Crematory. 214 S. Monroe Street, Tiffin, Ohio 44883, 419-447-3113, with a wake service at 3:30 PM.

Prayers will be said at 9:30 AM, Thursday, August 16, 2018, at the funeral home, with the Funeral Mass will at 10:00 AM, at St. Mary Catholic Church with Rev. Gary Walters officiating, Rosary will be recited twenty minutes prior to the service at the church. Burial will follow in St. Mary Catholic Cemetery.

Memorial contribution may be made to St. Mary Catholic Church, Elmwood Assisted Living Memory Care or Stein Hospice.
