James Anthony Loesser

James Anthony Loesser, 85, of Tiffin, died Sunday, July 22, 2018, at his residence.

James was born June 14, 1933, in Tiffin to John and Mary (Fredritch) Loesser.  He married Ruth Lovett July 3, 1954, and she survives in Tiffin.

Other survivors include a son Richard J.”Rick” Loesser of Parma, Ohio.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and two sons, Dr. Raymond Loesser and Dr. Mark A. Loesser.

James served in the U.S. Army from 1953-1955.  He was a retired test and service engineer at National Machinery Company and was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.

By Jim’s request, there will be no visitation or service at this time. The Traunero Funeral Home and Crematory, 214 S. Monroe Street, Tiffin, Ohio 44883, 419-447-3113, is assisting the family with arrangements. Burial will take place at a later time in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
