James T. Bowser

James T. Bowser, 98, of Tiffin, died at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 17, 2019, at his residence.

He was born May 19, 1920, in Seneca County, to Thomas and Mary E. (Baxter) Bowser.  He married Eileen M. Martin March 11, 1950, in the St. Mary Rectory.  She survives in Tiffin.

Also surviving are a son, Thomas A. Bowser of Wichita Falls, Tex., a daughter, Celeste M. (Bowser) Schultz of Bradner, and four grandchildren.

Mr. Bowser was a 1938 Columbian High School graduate and attended Heidelberg College.  He retired after 41 years at National Machinery Co. as a machinist.

Private services will be held, with burial in Pleasant Ridge (Egberts) Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to St. Mary Catholic Church or American Heart Association.
