Terrance James Patrick DeMars

Terrance James Patrick DeMars, 80, of Tiffin, died at 8:54 a.m. Saturday, July 23, 2016, at Heritage Village, Clyde.  He was born February 8, 1936, in Anoka, Minnesota to Oliver and Valerie (Kolbe) DeMars.  He married Mary F. Baker, September 7, 1963, in Hagerstown, Maryland and she survives.

Other survivors include a son, Ted J. (Judith) DeMars of Fort Seneca; two daughters, Terri Jude Theis of Tiffin, and Toni Marie King of South Dakota; six grandchildren, four great grandchildren; and two brothers, William Kolbe of Colorado, and Dennis DeMars of Minnesota.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his step-father, Henry Kolbe, and a sister, Mary Lou Tuhkanen.

Terrance retired after 21 years of service in the United States Air Force and Army.  He served three tours in Vietnam and Thailand.  He was awarded the Bronze Star, Freedom Team Award and other military awards. Later, he was a truck driver.

There will be no visitation.  The funeral and burial will be at a later date.
