Shar was a 1947 graduate of Columbian High School and married Paul "Lefty" Troxell October 16, 1948 in Sandusky, Ohio. She was employed out of high school at G.E. and later at Grabler Company, but she was a homemaker throughout most of her life.  She enjoyed sewing, playing the piano, singing and dancing with Lefty. She was on the Seneca County Commission on Aging board where she and Lefty were volunteers for Bingo for many years. She was a member of Old Trinity Episcopal Church and Altar Guild for most of her life. She and Lefty spent many years vacationing and playing cards in Florida after he retired. Most of all, she was happiest watching her grandchildren and great grandchildren playing in her pool.

Per her written request, there will be a small private gathering at Old Trinity Episcopal Church Columbarium at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to The Tuberous Sclerosis Alliance or Old Trinity Episcopal Church in care of Traunero Funeral Home and Crematory, 214 S. Monroe Street, Tiffin, Ohio 44883, (419) 447-3113.
