Margaret "Pegge" Jane (Miller) Bunting

Margaret Jane “Pegge” Bunting, 77, of Tiffin, died at 8:10 p.m. Tuesday, April 19, 2016, at Elmwood at the Shawhan.

Pegge was born October 5, 1938 in  Springfield, Ohio to Dr. William H. (Margaret Rose Dillon) Miller.  She married Donald C. Bunting, June 15, 1963, in Dayton, Ohio and he died November 14, 2000.

Survivors include three sons, William C. (Judith) of Manhattan, Kansas; Patrick D., and Mark D. (Amy) Bunting both of Tiffin; a daughter, Elizabeth J. “Betsy” Bunting of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; six grandchildren, Katie, James, Chelsey, Graydon, Griffin and Cooper; two sisters, Elizabeth “Liz” (Jose) Gonzales and Carolyn “Lulu” (John) Peck.

Pegge was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.

Pegge was a graduate of Tecumseh High School, New Carlisle and a graduate of Bowling Green State University.  She was a retired teacher, a former member of St. Michael Catholic Church, Findlay and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Tiffin.

Visitation for family and friends will be 10 a.m. – 11 a.m. Monday, April 25, 2016, at St. Joseph Catholic Church.  The funeral Mass will follow at 11 a.m. at the church with Rev. Joseph Szybka officiating. Burial will be private in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
