Carolyn M. (Mang) Clouse

Carolyn M. Clouse, 84, of Tiffin, died at 3:45 a.m. Thursday, September 15, 2016, at Bridge Hospice Care Center, Findlay.

Carolyn was born August 10, 1932, in Seneca County to Alfred and Emma (Kuhn) Mang.  She married Luke Clouse, June 28, 1952, at St. Joseph Catholic Church and he died October 15, 2006.

Survivors include three sons, Jim (Debra) Clouse of Tiffin, Tim Clouse of New Riegel, Phillip (Jill) Clouse of Medina; four daughters, Linda (David) Otte and Cathy (Steve) Painter both of Fostoria, Lori (Mike) Huth of Tiffin, Mary Beth “Betsy” (Rod) Repasz of Fostoria; 20 grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren; and a daughter-in-law, Bernadine (Bell) Kirian of Tiffin.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a son, Denny Clouse; a brother, Harold Mang;   two sisters, Madeline Lutz and Mary Anne Welly; two grandsons, Cheyenne and Cody Clouse; and a son-in-law, Steffen Zeigler.

Carolyn was a 1950 graduate of Calvert Catholic High School. She was a homemaker, and a cook at Hopewell-Loudon Schools, a member of St. Mary Catholic Church and its Altar Rosary Society, the Hopewell Women’s Crafter’s Club, an avid quilter, card player, and belonged to the Card Club for 50 years.

Friends and family may visit from 4-8 p.m. Sunday, September 18, 2016, at Traunero Funeral Home and Crematory, 214 S. Monroe St. Tiffin, Ohio 44883 (419) 447-3113.  A wake service will be held at 3:30 p.m. at the funeral home.

Prayers will be said at 12:30 p.m. Monday, September 19  2016, at the funeral home followed by the funeral Mass at 1:00 p.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church officiated by Rev. Gary Walters. Burial will take place immediately following in St. Mary Catholic Cemetery.

In Lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Bridge Hospice of Findlay, or to St. Mary Catholic Church, in care of the funeral home.
