CHARLES EUGENE HOSSLER

Charles Hossler, age 70, died at 4:51 a.m. on April 16, 2002 at his residence in Tiffin, Ohio. He was born on October 26, 1931 to James Guy and Doris (Rathburn) Hossler. On May 12, 1956 he married Marilyn G. Thom at the St. Joseph Rectory in Tiffin. She survives at home.

Other survivors include 2 sons, Dan (Sue) Hossler and Tim (Rose) Hossler; 2 daughters, Mrs. Lanny (Deb) Morrow and Suzette Hossler; 5 brothers, Elden Hossler, Melvin Richard Hossler, LeRoy Hossler, Ray Hossler and George Hossler; 2 sisters, Shirley Platt and Mrs. Ralph (Beverly) Mitchel; 8 Grandchildren and 6 Great Grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one brother, James Hossler and one sister, Lois Shoup.

He worked for 30 years as a carpenter at the Basic, retiring in 1985. He was a member of the Quarter Century Club at the Basic. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. He served his country in the US Navy, during the Korean War.

The Rosary will be recited 15 minutes prior to the Funeral Mass at the church. Military rites will be conducted at the graveside by The United Veteran's Council. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
