Richard Traunero
Owner / Funeral Director
Rich is a fourth-generation Tiffinite, his great-grandfather having emigrated here from Italy in 1882. Rich is a graduate of Tiffin Columbian High School, attended Bowling Green State University, and graduated from the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science. He is a licensed embalmer and funeral director, as well as a licensed airplane pilot. Rich is a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Tiffin Kiwanis Club, Knights of Columbus, and serves on several area community boards of directors, including the Kiwanis Manor Board, Tiffin Kiwanis Foundation, Mercy Tiffin Health Foundation, and the Finance Committee for the Tiffin City Schools. He is also a Past President of the Flying Funeral Directors of America. Rich is also involved as an Angel Flight Pilot, as well as a volunteer pilot for Pilots N Paws.

Andrea Traunero
Owner / Funeral Director
Andrea Traunero is a native of Columbus Grove, Ohio, and holds a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education from B.G.S.U., and a Master's Degree in Administration from the University of Dayton. She was an elementary school teacher for twelve years before obtaining her funeral director license and joining her husband full time at the funeral home. Andrea is a member of Faith United Methodist Church, St. Francis Auxiliary, a Substitute Teacher for Tiffin City Schools, she served on the Tiffin City Schools Building Facility Study Task Force, Parent Volunteer for Krout School and was an assistant Den Leader for the Bascom Bear Cub Scouts. The Traunero's have a son, Robert, and a daughter, Cassandra, both students at Tiffin Columbian High School.

Nancy Lucius
Office/Funeral Assistant
Nancy is a native Tiffinite, where she graduated from Calvert High School. After high school, Nancy obtained a degree in Preschool Education and had worked for the Tiffin City Schools for the past twelve years. She has been married for 25 years to David Lucius, who works at the National Machinery of Tiffin. They have three children, Jackie, Jessica,and Jacob all recent college graduates. The Lucius' are members of St. Joseph Catholic Church of Tiffin. In her spare time, Nancy enjoys volunteering at school, gardening and baking.

Leonard Illig
Assistant
Len is retired from the Tiffin City Schools and has worked at Traunero Funeral Home since 1994. Len and his wife Bernie are active at St. Mary Catholic Church and he enjoys golf and travelling in his spare time.

Delbert Schank
Assistant
Delbert Schank is retired from American Standard. He is married to Christine and they have 3 wonderful children Michele, Melissa and Kenny and 6 beautiful grandchildren. Delbert is a member of St. Mary Catholic Church and he is a 4th Degree member of the Knights of Columbus.

Robert Sigler
Assistant
Robert is a native of Seneca County. He graduated from Columbian High School in 1987. He is a devoted family man with a wonderful wife named Chyla. Together, they have two children, Mariah and Brady Sigler. They are members of Christ's Church at Tiffin. Robert is retired from the Seneca County Sheriff's office and the United States military. He is a veteran of Panama and also Iraq. Robert attended Terra Community College and graduated from Bowling Green State University with a degree in Social work. Rob works as a social worker in Seneca County and helps part-time at the funeral home.

Steve Rau
Assistant
Steve works in maintenance at Tiffin University and helps part-time at Traunero Funeral Home. He has three children, Alex, Samantha, and Noah. Steve umpires youth league baseball and also officiates middle school and junior varsity basketball games.

Robbie Traunero
Assistant
Robbie is Rich and Andrea's son and will be a graduate of Columbian High School this spring. Robbie has participated in basketball and track at Columbian. He has also played drums in the marching and pep bands. He also works at Jolly's Drive In. Robbie will attend Heidelberg University this fall, with plans to run track there, too.

Cassi Traunero
Assistant
Cassi is Rich and Andrea's daughter and is a sophomore at Columbian High School. While at Columbian, Cassi has participated as a cheerleader and track. She has also played flute in the marching and concert bands. Cassi has also participated in advanced music clinics at Bowling Green and Kent State Universities. Cassi is also undergoing lifeguard training at the YMCA.

Marissa Price
Assistant
Marissa is a 2011 graduate of Columbian High School and attends Capital University, majoring in Biology and Pre-Medicine. While at Columbian, she played softball and volleyball, and at Capital she plays volleyball. She is also involved in coaching girls volleyball and softball. She hopes to attend medical school and specialize in Pathology.

Lana Fargo
Advanced Planning Specialist
Lana is the youngest of two children of Lee and Sherry Bauders. Lana attended Margaretta High School and graduated in 1988. She then worked for a large retailer for ten years working her way up to assistant manager. Lana has two children, Alissa and Dylan. Lana spent several years in the mortgage industry. She obtained her insurance license and now assists folks with the pre-planning of their funeral arrangements.

Lowell Forbes
Assistant
Lowell Forbes is Andrea Traunero's father, and is a native of Columbus Grove, Ohio. He and his wife Nancy moved to Tiffin in 1997. Lowell is a retired school treasurer and is active with the United Way and the Tiffin Kiwanis Club. He is also a retired professional magician. He is a member of Faith United Methodist Church.

Lois Traunero (1924 - 2008) was Richard's mother and was raised in the Fremont/Clyde area. She was retired from the Tiffin City Schools and was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church. She is missed by her family and many friends.
